General Conditions of Sales, Hôtel Paradis Lourdes

These conditions apply to individual guests. 
(For reservations involving more than 10 guestrooms, considered as group bookings, special group conditions apply).

Check-in: rooms are available from 3 pm onwards; if arriving later than 9 pm, please alwaysgive the hotel advance notice.

Check-out: rooms must be vacated before 12 noon; if leaving later, please contact the front desk to check out availability and the possibility of keeping the room a little longer.

Luggage service: a free luggage service is available, please enquire at the front desk.

No show: all bookings are deemed to be guaranteed, so in the event of a no-show without the reservation having been cancelled beforehand (up until 4 pm on the same day), the hotel will reserve the right to invoice guests who fail to show the price of the first night.

Room rates: rates are in euros and include VAT except accommodation tax. Prices vary according to season and the number of persons in the same room. Breakfast is not included in the room rate.

Children: a 50% breakfast discount is granted to children under the age of 10 sharing a room with at least one adult (3 children maximum). Proof of identity may be requested.

Payment: payment is made at the front desk, where a credit card imprint will be requested upon arrival. For stays of over 7 days, weekly payment will be requested. 

Extras: extras are to be paid for preferably when purchasing or invoiced when checking out.

Change of dates: a change in the dates of a stay is possible depending on the hotel’s availabilities and the type of rate selected; it will be considered as a new reservation cancelling the former date. Any such change must be made known to the hotel at least 48 hours prior to arrival or must be justified at the hotel (medical certificate, family death certificate, recognized case of force majeure).

Responsibility: The hotel declines all responsibility in the event of theft, loss or damage to personal objects or effects. Safes are available at the front desk. The hotel also declines all responsibilityfor vehicles parked in the hotel car-park, and for their contents.

Guests will be held responsible for any damage or degradation caused within the establishment by themselves, their family and more generally by persons accompanying them.

Any behaviour contrary to morals and public order may lead the hotel’s management asking the guest to leave the hotel, with no compensation paid and no refund if payment has already been made.

Relocation: In the event of a major, exceptional or technical problem in the hotel making any stay there impossible, the hotel willdo its utmost to find alternative accommodation in a hotel of the same category or of a superior category. If the rates in the alternative hotel are higher than those of the Hôtel Paradis, the difference in price will be covered by the hotel. 

Complaints: In the event of a complaint, guests are invited to contact the front desk or the department concerned forthwith to find an immediate solution to the problem.If the guest is dissatisfied with the solution, he or she should contact the house manager on duty. If he or she fails to contact the house manager, no further complaints will be heard.
The guest and the hotel hereby agree to submit to French law and to French jurisdiction in the event of a dispute.

Respect for privacy: Guests are hereby informed that all the data collected for their stay will remain strictly confidential and serve the sole purpose of meeting the hotel’s obligation to customers.
